If you want to keep your ND and NL deliriously happy, or even maybe become an ND yourself, then following these guidelines will help your block hit the top of the hood funlist!
Here's the three things that will guarantee you diamond status after about 6 weeks...
Running a block is a lot of work unless you have a team of helpers. Well, that's what your BDs are for. So to really make it a success, concentrate on getting and keeping a full team of BDs and delegate most of the work to them! You can have up to six BDs, and you should aim to get that. Promote the best of your BDs to Senior BD.
Find at least one BD with HTML skills and get them to maintain the block message board for you. Get all of your BDs working on recruitment. Split up the general maintenance jobs so that nobody has too much to do apart from recruit! Always be polite and friendly to your team... you are relying on them for your success.
Finally, if you and your BDs post to the block message board (MB) at each point that's advised then your board will automatically come alight with activity!
